Extension Specialists should use this application to electronically request to publish a manuscript as an official numbered (EP3) publication.

Requests are submitted for approval of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Leader. All requests are copied to the Department Head and Department Extension Leader. Once approved, manuscripts are transferred to CALS Communication editors for final editing and publication. You may return to this application to check on the status of your publication. This process may also be necessary for revisions of existing numbered publications. Use the flow chart below to determine whether you should submit a new EP3 form for a revision. If a new form is not necessary, contact CALS Communication editor, Debra Ireland (debra_ireland@ncsu.edu) for assistance with minor revisions.

If you are revising/replacing an existing EP3 publication, you should indicate the replaced EP3 pub number on the new form.
